your personal audio tour for just $9
In each participating port across the Great Lakes this year, this new and exciting enhancement supports the efforts of conservation and protection of the fragile Great Lakes water ecosystem. You will learn interesting stories and facts about each of the ships, and learn of their mission as their crews and captains give you a personal tour. When you purchase and download theses specially produced audio files, a portion of the purchase price goes to the American Sail Training Association, the common association among all of the participating sail vessels.
You will be able to download the audio files to your computer and then transfer them to your iPhone, SmartPhone, or iPod player. Your computer will need to be able to open a .zip file. Take a pair of headphones with you to the festival and enjoy a personalized audio experience that helps promote conservation of the Great Lakes.
Each audio file explains the history of participating ships as well as an on board audio tour of the vessel. This year the tour consists of six ports of call. Please note that not every ship will be present at each port or participating in the audio tours.
